Kiwanis One Day - Food Drive

9 am - 1 pm
The Kiwanis Club of Glen Ellyn and its family of clubs, Aktion Club of WDSRA, Glenbard West Key Club, Glenbard South Key Club, will be collecting canned goods, soaps, paper goods and donations to restock our heavily depleted local food panties. We will be at Trader Joe's, Dominick's, Jewel and McChesney and Miller to collect donations.

We will also pick up donations around town. Call Glenn Scott at 312-318-7983 evenings during the week preceeding or on April 4 to set up a pick-up. We need:

• Peanut butter & jelly
• Canned fruit & fruit juices
• Canned meat (no refrigeration needed)
• One-dish meals (spaghetti, beef stew, chinese, etc.)
• Dry spaghetti, macaroni and spaghetti sauce
• Paper products (towels, tissue, Kleenex)
• Soap, detergent, cleaners
• Toothbrushes & toothpaste, shampoo, personal hygiene items
